    The unofficial results of the September 17, 2014 election saw Robert Smith receiving the most votes with 198, followed by Donald Desjarlait with 110, Lee Lussier with 105, Clem May with 76, Julie Stately with 61, Cherlyn Spears with 31 and Deanna Lasley with 17. Since no candidate received 51% of the votes tallied, there will be a run-off election between Smith and Desjarlait.     RED LAKE -- The unofficial results are in for the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians' special election. Robert Smith appears to have beat six other contenders for a Red Lake District Tribal Council position Wednesday night.
