More than 243,000 children tested positive for COVID-19 last week, marking the second-highest week ever for pediatric cases, according to a new report from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association. Majorities of Americans support vaccine mandates for workplaces, schools and sporting events, according to a new poll. Fifty-four percent of those polled by CNN and SSRS said they would support requiring office workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to return to their workplaces, while 46 percent were opposed to such a measure.
