St. Louis County Public Works employees were looking for any evidence of human remains as part of a planned archaeological exploratory dig last week in advance of a scheduled project to widen Rice Lake Road north of Arrowhead Road in 2020. http://www.startribune.com/public-works-crews-unearth-empty-coffins-bone-at-duluth-s...

    Shirelle Moore, Lakeland News|Aug 28, 2018

"We've been doing this for 11 years, like, today is the 11th year, and we try and help out people that have a crisis with suicide attempts or any issues that come up. • US and Mexico tentatively set to replace NAFTA with new deal

    Aug 28, 2018

WASHINGTON — Snubbing Canada, the Trump administration reached a preliminary deal Monday with Mexico to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement — a move that raised legal questions and threatened to disrupt the operations of companies that do business across the three-country trade bloc. President Donald Trump suggested that he might leave Canada, America's No. 2 trading partner, out of a new agreement. He said he wanted to call the revamped trade pact "the United States-Mexico Trade Agreement" because, in his view, NAFTA had ear...

  • Vikings' disappointing specialists get one more chance to rebound before opener

    Aug 28, 2018

Mike Priefer is a veteran special teams coach in his eighth season with the Vikings, and he’s nearing the end of perhaps his most challenging preseason in Minnesota. Kicker Daniel Carlson, punter Ryan Quigley and the Vikings reserves on punt and kickoff coverage didn’t play well last week against the Seahawks. Younger players have generally played better at this point in the preseason, Priefer said, leading to him putting the onus on himself to coach better while also sending a message to his specialists ahead of Thursday night’s exhib...

  • BP: Trump turns McCain's death into another political firestorm about Trump

    Aug 28, 2018
