    St. Paul, MN: The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) has positively identified the invasive weed Palmer amaranth in Lincoln County. A field had been planted with a cover crop seed that was contaminated with Palmer amaranth. The weed is listed as a Prohibited Weed Seed in Minnesota as well as in Iowa, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.     A 33-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car Saturday in a residential laneway on the Piapot First Nation. The Southey RCMP said in a media release the man was found shortly before 2:20 p.m. and airlifted to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance.
