ST. PAUL -- Minnesota roads will have increased patrols looking for drunk drivers around Labor Day, the state’s public safety department said. The enhanced enforcement by more than 300 agencies across the state will help reduce traffic deaths and injuries surrounding Minnesota’s second-most deadly holiday on the roads. The increased efforts will run Friday through Labor Day, Sept. 7. The Red Lake DNR held its Annual "Take a Kid Fishing" event at Fuller's Lake in Red Lake on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event was geared for those 5 years-old through 12 years-old About 300 kids and parents came out to the event, which provided fishing rods to the kids, a fishing experience on a boat, along with lunch and school supplies.
