GRAND FORKS -- A Thursday, May 17, shooting at a south Grand Forks apartment complex has left a man dead and a woman injured. Police responded to the Stratford Apartments at 11:29 a.m., where they found a man dead and woman with “what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries,” according to a news release. RED LAKE - The Red Lake High School Band put on their Spring Band Concert on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Secondary Complex Cefeteria. Under the direction of Julie Aas, the Beginning Band performed five songs, followed by a mix along with the Concert Band, and finally the Concert Band finishing off the evening with four arrangements by themselves. PAUL – The Minnesota unemployment rate held steady at 3.2 percent in April, according to seasonally adjusted figures released today by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). The U.S. unemployment rate in April was 3.9 percent. On Thursday afternoon, the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Crime Alert Network cancelled its "Endangered Missing Person Alert" for 24- year- old Antonio Roche. Rouche was last seen in Lac du Flambeau May 5. The cancellation of the alert seems to indicate searchers are no longer looking for Roche. At about 10 a.m. Thursday, searchers found a body in Pokegama Lake in Lac du Flambeau. However, the Lac du Flambeau tribe would not confirm whether the body was that of Roche.
