The Beltrami County Highway Department has started construction on County State Aid Highway 33 (Mission Road Northeast). The portion of highway under the construction is just west of Porcupine Lane Northeast to Power Dam Road Northeast (County Road 12). Construction includes grading, aggregate base and bituminous surfacing on 3.7 miles of roadway. Removal of existing bituminous surface is planned within the next two weeks.
