    Eight Red Lake District members have filed for the Red Lake Representative seat of former Representative Donald "Dudie" May, who passed away on March 8th of this year. A Special Election is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2014 to fill that unexpired term. If no one candidate receives more than 50% of the votes, a Run Off Election will probably be scheduled for October 2014.     A few hundred Red Lakers traveled to Minneapolis and the Target Center on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 for the Minnesota Lynx vs. Atlanta Dream women's basketball game.     BEMIDJI -- A woman plead guilty today in Beltrami County Court to stabbing a woman in June. Jenna Catherine Roy, 22, of Bemidji, is accused of stabbing a woman three times on June 14. Her victim was found sitting on the ground outside the Beltrami County Jail. Roy is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. She faces up to seven years imprisonment and a $14,000 fine. According to court documents, the female victim was stabbed in the stomach, on the right side of her neck and on her left arm.
