BEMIDJI -- Officials with the Beltrami County Jail recommended Tuesday that a Bemidji man charged with kidnapping a 5-year-old girl not be granted furlough. Jacob William Kinn, 32, requested Saturday to be released from the Beltrami County Jail for six hours in order to visit his sick mother. CASS LAKE -- Erma Vizenor will be be introduced as Leech Lake Tribal College's new president at the institution's 25th anniversary Saturday in Bemidji.
