    As of Wednesday, June 29th, the MN legislature and the Governor have not reached an agreement on a budget. If no agreement is reached by midnight June 30th, state government will shut down. Beltrami County and the rest of the State of Minnesota are waiting for the courts to rule on what services will be considered essential in the event of a shutdown.
