BEMIDJI -- As egg prices nationwide are increasing because of bird flu, the impact is being felt in the Bemidji community. According to figures released Wednesday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, egg prices are predicted to climb as high as $1.66 a dozen in some regions. BEMIDJI—A Bemidji man connected to thefts from fish houses in February was sentenced to jail time in Beltrami County District Court. Ryan Gregerson, 26, was convicted of felony third-degree aiding and abetting burglary May 26. He was sentenced to 52 days in the Beltrami County Jail and credited with 35 days time served. Gregerson has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine and $423 in restitution.
