  • Coroner confirms two victims in White Swan shootings

    Yakima County Coroner Jim Curtice confirmed Sunday afternoon that his office was in possession of two victims who both have apparent gunshot wounds. Their autopsies are expected to be conducted between Monday and Wednesday. One of the two victims had initially been taken to Astria Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound before dying.     BILLINGS — Lilly Gopher left her mark on Box Elder High School. Gopher was the State C girls basketball tournament MVP as a junior when she helped lead the Bears to their first state title in 20 years when the Bears ran away from Winnett-Grass Range in Butte.   • Warrior Movement taking all-star team to play in prestigious Native American Basketball Invitational tournament

    MISSOULA — The Warrior Movement will be taking a group of star basketball players from Montana and Wyoming to play in the Native American Basketball Invitational in Arizona later this month. The 17th annual invitational, dubbed “the largest all-indigenous high school tournament in the nation,” will feature 64 teams from 18 states and three countries.
