The Red Lake Warriors won their first two games of the season with 12-6 win over Lake of the Woods in Red Lake. Although they only played one game, they decided beforehand that this scheduled double-header would give two victories to the winner. Red Lake was supposed to play a game at Lake of the Woods in April but was cancelled because of rain. Alex English pitched the entire 7 innings for the Warriors and got the win. "What's Left - Lives Touched by Suicide" Art Exhibit was held at Red Lake Nation College on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. The exhibit is a multimedia exhibit designed to create a proactive community dialogue about suicide and mental illness, featuring over a dozen artists in a variety of forms. BAUDETTE, Minn. - A man has died after an incident on Rapid River in northern Minnesota. Authorities were called to the stretch of the river near Clementson Rapids just after 5 p.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Lake of the Woods County Sheriff’s Office.
