A total of 130 pounds of out-dated or no longer needed pharmaceuticals were turned in Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Law Enforcement Center in Bemidji. A local business owner received an email solicitation purporting to be from the FBI on official looking FBI letterhead with an illegible signature from the actual FBI Director Robert Mueller. A man has been shot in Cass Lake. According to a press release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office: Timothy Goodman, 24, of Cass Lake, suffered two gunshot wounds, one in the chest and one in the arm. He was airlifted to a Fargo hospital. His condition was not immediately available. Today in federal court in Duluth, a 29-year-old felon from Red Lake pleaded guilty to possessing 10 firearms. Michael Vernon Lussier pleaded guilty to one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Lussier, who was indicted Jan. 11, entered his plea before U.S. District Court Chief Judge Michael J.
