BEMIDJI -- A Bemidji Area Schools student was airlifted and five others were removed by ambulance from the scene of school bus accident Wednesday morning. A school bus filled with elementary students was heading south on Irvine Avenue Northwest at about 7:40 a.m. when it was struck by a car heading east on South Movil Lake Road, and the bus came to rest on its side in the ditch. BEMIDJI, Minn. (Valley News Live) Emergency crews in the Bemidji area are responding to a school bus crash that left several kids hurt. Officials tell Valley News Live that a bus was hit by a car on a road north of the city. The bus went off the road and ended up on it's side.
