    The Ponemah Easter Egg Hunt was held on Easter Sunday at noon at the Ponemah Pow-wow arena and softball field. The youth had a great afternoon hunting for eggs. We had over 300 youth in attendance and prizes consisting of 2 dirt bikes, 2 bikes, 2 scooters, 1 electric 4-wheeler, along with 32 gift cards (ranging from $100 down to $15), and Easter pails filled with candy and toys.     Prior Lake, MN – The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community today announced the release of $239,491 in funds to the White Earth Nation for the Naytahwaush Fire Station. The funds are a draw on a $1 million grant for construction of a new fire station and to add a diabetes wing to their tribal health building.
