In a surprising turnabout, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources on Thursday reversed its position on the use of live bait announced last month. A rural Deer River man was sentenced Wednesday to more than four years in prison for an alcohol-fueled crash that killed two acquaintances in Itasca County in September.
