The move has potentially ominous implications for special counsel Robert Mueller's probe given that the new acting attorney general, Matthew Whitaker, until now Sessions' chief of staff, has questioned the inquiry's scope and spoke publicly b...
The insurgency that swept Democrats into power in the U.S. House was led by suburban voters, both in the Twin Cities area and across the country. They fueled wins by Democrats Angie Craig and Dean Phillips, who unseated Republican incumbents in the Second and Third congressional districts — which together wrap around the Twin Cities from the northwest to the southeast. The same thing happened in suburban Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Denver and Detroit, with Democrats at times defeating favored Republican House incumbents. http:...
HUDSON, WIS. – After two terms, one recall attempt and a failed presidential bid, Wisconsin Gov. Although Wisconsin is a wide swath of Republican red, he lost Milwaukee, Madison and the surrounding suburbs for reasons that were dis...

Democrats resurgent Minnesota Democrats came roaring back to life. After the 2016 election, Democrats were worried that Minnesota was just one more Republican victory away from becoming like GOP-controlled Wisconsin.
