    The Red Lake Lady Warriors, ranked #1 in the East Section 8A, will play their first game of the Tournament this evening at 6 PM against Cass Lake, ranked #8. They will play at Bemidji State University. Last year Red Lake won their first game in the tournament, but were knocked off by Fosston at the REA in Thief River Falls. The Lady Warriors are 15-3 on the seasion and 13-0 in their conference. In the last 10 games, they are 9-1 and have not lost a game this season at home. They also averaged...

    BEMIDJI -- The investigation into a 6-year-old Bemidji girl’s death may stretch into next week. Bemidji Police Chief Mike Mastin said the investigation is ongoing and could wrap up on Monday. “I’m thinking about that 6-year-old girl,” Mastin said. “I’m not going to hinder an investigation by releasing information before the case is closed.” Once the investigation is completed her name will be released. Provisional medical reports indicate she died of hypothermia. Mastin said the police department is still awaiting the formal report....
