    BLACKDUCK – The Blackduck-Cass Lake-Bena wrestling team is sending three athletes to the Class A state wrestling meet which begins Thursday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Andrew Nissen finished second at the Section 8A meet in the 106-pound division as did teammates Daven Staples at 160 and Tanner Templin at 195. Nissen went 3-1 at the section meet.     Last night the Red Lake Lady Warriors ended their season with 63-45 win over Blackduck in Red Lake. It was also Parent Appreciation Night, and Assistant Coach Jack Desjarlait was presented a plaque and jacket for getting his 300th career win last week. Red Lake finished 14-5 on the season, their best record ever, and are No. 2 seeded in the playoffs scheduled for February 28, 2013 at BSU. The No. 1 seed in the tournament is Clearbrook-Gonvick.
