    On Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 12:55 PM, Jason Lee King, 21, of Redby, Minnesota escaped from custody while being escorted from the Beltrami County Jail to an appointment at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. King was being held on Armed Robbery Charges stemming from the robbery at Newby’s Store in December.     A man escaped from custody while being escorted from the Beltrami County Jail to an appointment at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center at 12:55 p.m. on Tuesday.     A manhunt was underway Tuesday night for a 21-year-old man who escaped from custody earlier in the day while being transported from a jail in northern Minnesota to a hospital.
