    Red Lake Summer Culture Camp is a wrap! We had an awesome group of kids who showed up everyday to learn a variety of different Cultural Activities and Projects during the two week camp. Those activities and projects included Ojibwe Language and TPR movements, Ribbon skirt making, drumstick making, hand drum making, big drum teachings, traditional rattle making, tobacco pouch making, dream catcher teachings and making, bandolier bag paintings, hook-and-line fishing, and blanket/pillow making....

    I just wanted to thank everyone that came together today, (February 21, 2018), on such short notice. Thes Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women/Missing & Murdered Indigenous People Awareness Walk was rescheduled from last week out of respect for the families that lost loved ones and we weren't too sure when we were going to do it.     On Tuesday, May 20, 2014 the American Indian Program at Clearbrook/Gonvick Schools recognized two of their students who will be graduating on Saturday, Alex Barrett and Donavan Cobenais, who are both from Red Lake. Alex Barrett is the son of Rick and Michelle Barrett, and Donovan is the son of Myron and Crystal Cobenais. The boys were recognized by the American Indian Program with honor songs, Brent Gish gave the keynote address and each received pendleton blankets during the banquet....
