    Bemidji police officials say the reported rape of an 11-year-old girl in Bemidji is likely an isolated incident. In court documents, the victim in the case told investigators of other underage girls who were also assaulted in the basement where she was raped.     The Beltrami County Jail has been ordered to reduce its inmate capacity from 132 to 80 after the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) found inadequate staffing at the jail created conditions that pose an imminent risk of life-threatening, hard, or serious physical injury to individuals confined or incarcerated in the facility.     A 34-year-old Cloquet man who is accused of setting a house on fire in Cass Lake on New Year's Eve has been charged in Cass County District Court with felony first-degree arson.     The man suspected of using Beltrami County funds without authorization to purchase hundreds of items valued at about $146,000 has died. The Beltrami County Attorney’s Office announced today that charges against Ronald Anthony Pula have been dismissed due to his death.     A member of the Bemidji High School community has tested positive for COVID-19. Superintendent Tim Lutz released the news on Tuesday in a letter to families, students, and staff.     The search is on for an armed robbery suspect in Beltrami County. Beltrami County Sheriff’s Department officials say one person has been arrested but a second suspect is still on the loose. Shannon "Opie" Barron, 48, died late last night after suffering a medical emergency shortly after responding to a call of service involving an incident where there was suspected illegal harvesting.     A prisoner who escaped from custody outside of Bemidji’s Sanford Hospital remains on the run tonight. According to an official with the Red Lake Detention Center, Adam James Johnson, 27, has not been located since he escaped on Wednesday night.
