BP: Bena man killed in head-on crash

BEMIDJI -- A 24-year-old Bena man was killed in a head-on collision Thursday evening near Walker.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara driven by Seth Raines, 24, Bena, was traveling south on state Highway 371 in Walker when it crossed the centerline and hit a 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by Ricklin Schmidtke, 62, of Walker. The patrol received the report of the crash at 5:16 p.m.
