2nd Street Stage will feature Pat Lenertz Band June 28

The Park Rapids Downtown Business Association invites you to celebrate summer at 2nd Street Stage events Thursday evenings through Aug. 16.

The free concerts will run from 6 to 8 p.m. (7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 9) with bands, a beer garden, cornhole tournaments and family activities on the second block of South Main. Bring your own lawn chair.

The beer garden will open at 5 p.m. for a social hour while you find your spot, listen to the sound check and greet neighbors and friends. Support this great event by buying an official 2018 button and receive $2 off all beverages purchased and a free stadium cup or koozie at the beer garden.

The Pat Lenertz Band will play June 28, sponsored by Paul Bunyan Communications. Moorhead native Pat Lenertz is a veteran of the Fargo/Moorhead scene with 15 years experience playing, singing and fronting several bands. Whether it's onstage at The Hub belting out Bob Marley covers backed by a 9-piece reggae tribute act, or strapping on an acoustic and kicking off open mic night at the Sidestreet Bar and Grille, he is comfortable commanding the attention of any space. Drawing on his love for Americana and roots musicians like Willie Nelson, Wilson Pickett, Bill Withers, John Prine and Bob Dylan, in 2012 Lenertz set out to find the perfect band of brothers to help tell his musical stories. Band members are Lenertz, vocals, guitar; Trevor Pearson, drums; Travis Atwood, bass, vocals; and Casey Conners, guitar, vocals.
