A group of Minneapolis City Council members on Monday called for a swift and thorough investigation of cases in which police officers urged paramedics to sedate members of the public with ketamine.
At a committee meeting, Council Member Phillipe Cunningham said he was "appalled" by the reports and introduced an order for the city's police oversight investigators to complete a probe into these cases by late July, and for an independent review of the report itself.
