Twenty-two current and former state legislators endorse Keith Ellison for Attorney General

MINNESOTA – Just over one week after announcing his candidacy for Minnesota Attorney General, Rep. Keith Ellison released the following statement after securing the endorsements of 22 current and former Minnesota state legislators:

“It’s an honor to have the support of legislators who fight for ordinary people at our State Capitol. All Minnesotans are entitled to equal rights under the law regardless of their religion, the color of their skin, their income, or where they grew up, but for far too many this promise remains unfulfilled.

“Whether they are facing wage-theft, getting ripped off by predatory lenders, or being discriminated against, Minnesota families of all backgrounds deserve someone who will have their back and who will look out for their interests alone. As the People’s Lawyer, I will be that advocate. I look forward to working with this incredible group of leaders to fight for a Minnesota that truly lives up to our promise of liberty and justice for all.”
