Bemidji Pioneer: Bemidji Speedway holds another night of action

BEMIDJI -- Sunday night racing at its finest. With 86 cars on hand and a great crowd of fans to watch, the racers put on a show Sunday night at Bemidji Speedway. For the first time joining the regular cast of racers the Northern Renegade Sprints joined the show. They will make two more appearances at the track including next Sunday and again in August.

Bemidji Mini Stock Feature

The mini stock class is growing each week. On Sunday, 17 mini stocks drove on track led by Mike Hart and Travis Olafson. After a couple of failed attempts at a start the green flag waved with Hart taking the lead followed by Blake Erickson, Cory Nelson, Billy Foster and Andrew Hanson. Hart never trailed and picked up the victory. Erickson, Foster, Nelson and Dawson Kimble finished in the top five.
