Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton kept his promise Wednesday and wiped out nearly all the work the Republican-led Legislature completed in the just-ended 2018 session.
Dayton vetoed a $131 million supplemental spending bill that stretched nearly 1,000 pages and included some of his biggest priorities. But even after Republicans modified it, the bill included dozens of “objectionable provisions,” like spending cuts and shifts and policy language the governor found unacceptable.
