Bemidji Pioneer: Albrecht eyes fourth term: Mayor files for re-election to lead city

BEMIDJI -- Bemidji Mayor Rita Albrecht filed for the 2018 election Tuesday, with the goal of earning a fourth term.

The 63-year-old, who was first elected to the office in 2012 and reelected in 2014 and 2016, said there are multiple issues in the community she’d like to continue working on, ranging from city utilities to future growth and development.
