Metsa Files For Congress

Today Rep. Jason Metsa officially filed as a candidate for Minnesota's open 8th Congressional seat. Please find attached photos of the event for your reference and use.

Metsa just completed his third term in the Minnesota Legislature representing House District 6B, which includes Virginia, Aurora, Eveleth, and Mountain Iron. Metsa is a fifth generation Iron Ranger and lives in Virginia with his wife, Amanda, and their son, Josiah.

Metsa is honored to have earned the support of his brothers and sisters in labor across the 8th Congressional district, including United Steelworkers (USW), Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR), the Iron Range Building and Construction Trades, United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 1189, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 294, Boilermakers Local 647, the Virginia Firefighters Union Local 390, and Carpenters Local 606.
