Public Forum: State Rehabilitation Council and Vocational Rehabilitation Services

A long and growing waiting list for services provided by the Vocational Rehabilitation program has led to an indefinite delay in receiving the employment services that many Minnesotans with disabilities are eligible to receive.

A public forum sponsored jointly by the Minnesota State Rehabilitation Council and Vocational Rehabilitation Services will explore how the greater statewide workforce development system can help to meet the employment needs of people with disabilities.

The public forum is set for 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 11, at the Minneapolis North WorkForce Center, 800 West Broadway Ave. The forum is open to everyone.
