Harold 'Skip' Finn, first Native American to serve in Minnesota Senate, dies at 69

CASS LAKE, Minn. — Former state Sen. Harold “Skip” Finn died Thursday, according to a statement from his daughter.

Finn, 69, a Leech Lake band member, represented Minnesota’s 4th Senate District from 1991 to 1996. A member of the DFL, he also served as majority whip.
