Expected release of man who molested 31 boys and girls prompts new bill, now on Dayton's desk

Legislation to prevent the unsupervised release of dangerous sex offenders is headed to Gov. Mark Dayton’s desk.

The Minnesota House and Senate approved small changes to a bill Friday that will prevent the unmonitored release of people deemed “sexually dangerous,” “sexual psychopathic” and other dangerous individuals.
