Jordan declared winner of Democratic primary race for governor

The AP has called the Democratic primary for governor for Paulette Jordan, the former two-term state representative from Plummer. With 49 percent of the vote counted, Jordan had 59 percent of the vote to Boise businessman A.J. Balukoff's 40 percent; first-time candidate Peter Dill had 1 percent.
