Shoreview raises age to buy tobacco to 21, joining Bloomington, Edina and other cities

Shoreview has raised the age to buy tobacco to 21 in the Ramsey County suburb.

The city council voted unanimously for the new age limit Monday evening. Shoreview becomes the sixth Minnesota city to accept the higher age for sales and the first in the east metro.
