Burger King restaurants close in Twin Cities metro, St. Cloud and Brainerd

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Nine Burger King fast food restaurants have abruptly closed in the Twin Cities metro and St. Cloud, leaving about 200 employees without jobs.

KMSP-TV reports the closed restaurants are owned by P3 Foods, which filed for bankruptcy in the fall of 2016. Documents show the court ordered P3 to surrender its properties immediately. P3 says company executives are working on a transition to new ownership.
