Human remains found near Minnesota River

The Burnsville Police Department and the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office are investigating human remains found near the Minnesota River close to Interstate 35W and Black Dog Road, according to a Sunday evening tweet posted by the sheriff’s office.

"Our Office is working cooperatively with @BurnsvillePD on human remains located near the Minnesota River in the area of 35W and Black Dog Road. More information will follow once available and confirmed."
