Bemidji Pioneer: LaRose and Finn; Howe and Robinson move on to Leech Lake general election

LEECH LAKE -- Leech Lake voters decided Tuesday which candidates will move on to the general election in June.

The Minnesota Chippewa Tribe’s election ordinance states that if any candidate received more than half the vote in the primary election they will be declared the winner. None of this year’s candidates met the threshold, paving the way for the June race.
