Region 2 Arts Council Seeks Board Members

Region 2 Arts Council seeks arts appreciators and artists of all kinds from Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, and Mahnomen counties to join our Board of Directors. Board terms last two years and will begin in July. Eligible applicants must be 18 years or older, have a strong interest in the arts, and have the desire to be an ambassador for Region 2 Arts Council.

This is a great opportunity to understand the workings of the arts granting process, to be more involved with the arts and artists of our region, and to enjoy camaraderie with others who appreciate the arts.

Region 2 Arts Council covers round trip mileage at the current IRS rate for attending board activities. Time commitment involves board meetings, committee work, and 5-8 hours per month reviewing grant applications, along with evaluating funded arts events. Summers are relatively free of board obligations.
