BUILDING MAINTENANCE

RATE OF PAY: Depending upon experience

LOCATION: Seven Clans Casinos –Thief River Falls, MN

OPENS: March 21, 2018

CLOSES: April 04, 2018

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager is responsible to conduct repairs for Seven Clans Casinos. Shift 4pm-12am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Inspects, monitors and repairs heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, sprinkler systems, heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC) and supporting equipment manually and through the use of computers to ensure efficient and proper operation.

 Observes pressure, temperature and draft meters on panel to verify specified operation of automatic combustion control systems, and burners.

 Operates and maintains boilers to ensure proper operation including checking gauges, pumps, and valves.

 Checks, monitors and adds chemicals, checks flames, looks for leaks and performs cleaning of boilers and chillers.

 Operates and maintains air handling units, checks motors, belts, bearings, fans, filters, grease and welds.

 Completes preventative maintenance on all heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, safety device alarms and other building equipment including cooking equipment.

 Analyzes and recognizes deficiencies or problem areas and provides solutions to achieve desired results.

 Performs routine carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical repairs as needed.

 Responsible for preventative maintenance and inspections of the facilities to identify any areas of concern.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

It is required the Building Maintenance have at least a two-year technical degree but will substitute to relevant work experience. Valid Driver's license required must be insurable.
