Amy Lynn Dow, age 27, of Ponemah, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Monday, March 12, 2018 from Ponemah, MN. She was born in Bemidji, MN on May 17, 1990 to Chele (Johnson) and Keith Dow, Sr.

After high school, she enrolled in Albuquerque Technical Institute and earned her Medical Assistant Certification. She soon realized that she needed to be at home with her babies full time.

Amy was selfless, trustworthy and brave and was very much a family girl. She was a great mother, daughter, sister and friend. Amy loved family gatherings and spending time with her kids and her nephew Elijah Jay Taft. She loved to cook, bake, and hanging out with her friends. Amy was out going so she made many friends everywhere she went. She was funny and could make anyone laugh and smile. Amy was always there for anyone who needed her. She enjoyed watching her dad play pool and bowl, she liked playing keno, being on social media, listening to music, laughing and joking around with friends and family and she loved a clean house. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

She is welcomed to the spirit world by her brother; Keith Dow, Jr., auntie; Arlene Brown, grandfather; Richard Seki, great grandmothers; Grace Perkins and Irene Wilson and great grandfathers; Clyde Perkins and Grover Dow.

Amy leaves behind her parents; Chele (Dean) Kalstabakken and Keith Dow, Sr. both of Ponemah, children; David James III, Ayden James, Davian Castillo and Aubrey Castillo, sisters; Allyssa (Josh) Dow and Kirsten (Mickey) Dow, aunties; Tara Dow, Donna Perkins and Melanie Johnson, uncles; Jeff Brown, Eugene Perkins, Daniel Perkins, Sr., Dino Perkins, Travis Johnson, Sr. and Robert Johnson, Jr., grandma; Joyce Brown and Nancy Johnson, grandpa; Robert Johnson, Sr., other family members and many friends.

An overnight wake for Amy will begin at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 19th and continue until her traditional service at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 20th all being held at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, MN. Allen Hardy will be her Spiritual Advisor. Helping to lay Amy to rest are Robert Johnson, Jr., Travis Johnson, Sr., Josh Desjarlait, Tyler Johnson, Mickey Taft and Tyrone Dow. Alternate pallbearers are Dean Kalstabakken, Eugene StandingCloud and Devin Johnson. Her honorary pallbearers are Sara Rushman, Noel Perkins, Larry Castillo, Jr., Sasha Perkins, Travis Dow, Jordan Dow, Brianna Sigana, Antonio Whipps, Alvin Chief and Katherine Garcia. Interment will be in the Johnson Family Burial Grounds at Ponemah, MN following her Tuesday service.
