Photo exhibit of American Indian activism opens in Minneapolis

A photo exhibit highlighting recent American Indian activism has opened at the American Indian Movement Interpretive Center, 1113 E. Franklin Av. in Minneapolis.

Included are photographs of the Dakota Access pipeline protests at North Dakota's Standing Rock Indian Reservation, the Justice for Jason Walk to protest alleged excessive force by law enforcement at the Bad River Reservation in Wisconsin, and two demonstrations protesting the use of the Washington Redskins' and Kansas City Chiefs' nicknames when they played the Vikings in Minneapolis.
