Bemidji Pioneer: Cass Lake girl died of hypothermia

CASS LAKE -- A 14-year-old girl found dead in Cass Lake on Jan. 12 died of hypothermia due to cold exposure, according to Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch.

Monica Rose Salas-Raisch was not publicly identified by authorities at the time of her death. The Pioneer discovered her identity through an obituary.
