ORGANIZATIONAL LOCATION: Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Northern Plains Region, Bemidji Area, Division of Laboratory, Red Lake Service Unit, Red Lake, Minnesota. This position serves as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities
Evaluates requested procedures to determine the suitability of specimen for analysis.
Selects, performs, evaluates and monitors the performance of routine and complex test procedures using manual and/or instrumental techniques.
Calibrates, standardizes, troubleshoots, adjusts and maintains instruments in the laboratory.
Conducts quality control procedures on equipment, reagents, and products, and maintains proper records for quality control reports.
Performs other hospital and laboratory duties as assigned.
