Police, parents search for missing Red Lake woman

PONEMAH-Red Lake police are asking for help finding a woman missing since Jan. 28.

Amy Dow, 27, was last seen leaving her house in Ponemah more than three weeks ago, her mother said. Dow usually talks to her mother, Chele Kalstabakken, via text message and Facebook Messenger, but has not had contact with her family since she was last seen.

Dow's phone is also turned off and she has made no posts on social media, her mother said.

Kalstabakken takes care of her daughter's child, she said, and Dow usually checks in on the baby. When she did not contact her family, Dow's parents grew concerned.

Kalstabakken began trying to find her daughter Feb. 3.

Dow is 5-feet-3-inches tall and 98 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She has two moles on the left side of her face: one on her cheek and another at the corner of her upper lip.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts should call Red Lake law enforcement at (218) 679-3313, Kalstabakken at (218) 553-1223 or her father Keith Millerdowser at (218) 766-5913.
