OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW: Seven Clans Hotel renovations now underway

THIEF RIVER FALLS - Red Lake's Seven Clans Casino, Hotel and Water Park in Thief River Falls, MN announced on January 29, 2018 that hotel renovations are now underway and the entire hotel will be completely renovated from top to bottom, including all new furniture and a new look.

"We are making a lot of great and positive changes to our property in Thief River Falls and it is our goal to continue to enhance and improve our property, amenities and service," said Eugene McArthur, CEO of Red Lake Gaming Enterprises, in a press release. "We recently renovated our restaurant and completed work inside the water park. The hotel is a big piece of the puzzle that's been missing and we are very proud to be moving forward with the renovation project."

This $6 million renovation will also add another room, bringing the total to 152, and will improve the facility's Wi-Fi internet service.

The hotel will remain open during this time, as they started on the fourth floor in blocks of rooms to keep as many other rooms open as possible.

Work is expected to finish before June of this year.
