Man charged for theft of artifacts

A Merrill man with a history of property crimes has been arrested for allegedly stealing Native American artifacts from a gravesite in 2016, as well as the theft of a pickup truck last summer.

Tyler Creighton Bodle, 33, was arrested Thursday on multiple outstanding warrants including an indictment for artifact thefts occurring Feb. 19, 2016.
