Tribal Council incumbents, leaders back

BARAGA — Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Tribal Council President Warren “Chris” Swartz administered the council’s oath of office Saturday to re-elected members Randy Haataja, Toni Minton, Doreen Blaker and Robert “RD” Curtis.

Following the swearing in of the incumbents, they received gifts from Rodney Loonsfoot and Fred Dakota, and then the council took nominations for the reorganization of the board members.
