Vikings safety Harrison Smith named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

One week after being snubbed for the Pro Bowl, Vikings safety Harrison Smith was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Smith was honored for intercepting two passes and making seven tackles in last Saturday’s 16-0 victory at Green Bay.
